the first time I saw dreads was in Eugene Oregon, very crunchy town. it was also the first time I saw a woman with hairy legs :P Seattle there was a lot and even here in little town Springfield Mo, which is actually a pretty cool place to live considering it's in the midwest.

In my town (Elmira NY) theres a few people with dreads, but usually not dreaded for more than a few years. Most are white or black and a lot are salon dreads. One guy I see every now and then has dreads to his waist and he's middle eastern. When I visited Venice, Italy for a day I saw a very attractive blonde girl with natural dreads. I generally don't see more than one or two dreaded people at once though.
I see quite a bit here at school in UC Santa Barbara. More than I expected at least, so I'm glad I'm not the only one.
