I'm a huge Supervillains fan, and absolutely love Skart's dreads. Can anyone tell what method you think he used and how big the sections are? Here's a music video and two pics (Early dreads and his matured) to get the just of them:

How old are they in the vid? On there you can see a neat seperation right along the center of his scalp. If this is a very early pic then it's quite possible he got them done at a salon (which you absolutely totally do not want to do ever). The older pics do look a little bit more natural, but it's pretty doubtful. I'd stop worrying about trying to get dreads exactly like him and just start neglect. You can control and change the look through seperation so if your dreads end up too fat you can rip them and if they end up too thin you can let them congo.

I know, i wasn't planning on being exactly like his. I'm pretty sure they're like 6+ years old. I was just curious since his dreads are just the right thickness that i find look awesome. Thanks! :)
