Ge them out right now. Rubber bands tend to get sucked into your locks and start to break down and rot there. Even small pieces that get stuck can rot. They also form thinning and weak spots on your locks. Also, when they get tangled in knotting hair, they can rip hairs out and cause more weakening

HEY what did you guys do with the ends of your hair when you were first starting to dread it? when i got to the end i just folded it and put a rubberband on it but now i have to take the bands out so do i just let my ends do whatever they please?

Just let them be. The tips should be loose. You'll thank yourself for it when you wash. Loose tips allow water to drain out of your locks much better and faster. blunted tips get water logged and take hours longer to dry. Plus putting bands on your tips inhibits movement. You need that looseness to let them move around so they can tangle within themselves
