I want to go swimming this summer, but I'm not too sure if I should swim in a public pool or not considering the levels of chlorine. I hate chlorine. It always makes my skin feel really dry. I can imagine what it would do to hair.

WELL ITS NOT GREAT HOWEVER NO REASON TO STOP SWIMMING JUST FOLLOW THRESE FEW TIPS TO MINUMIZE THE DAMAGE

WET THE HAIR THOUROUGHLY WITH TAP WATER 1ST SOAKING WET HAIR CANT A=SU]ORB AS MUCH CHLORINE

ARFTER U SWIM DONT DO BAKING SODA! USE A DREAD SOAP OR IF U MUST DO BS DO ACV 1ST (AND MAYBE AFTER TOO) BS AND CHLORINE ARE BOTH ALKALINE AND THE 1 AFTER THE OTHER WOULD REALLY DRY U PUT AND TIP THE PH WAY INTO THE ALKALINE SIDE

SO IF YOUR GONNA DO BS/ACV RINSE THE CHLORINE OUT WELL DO ACV THEN BS THEN ACV AGAIN

BUT A DREAD SOAP MIGHT BE BETTER

argh caps srry

Great tips SE, most important rule is to really deeply saturate your hair with tap water first. When your hair is full of one thing, it can't be full of another. It will def. not soak up at much chlorine this way.
