So here's how it goes, my friend has three massive mats/flat dreads. And he doesn't want them, it's his fault because he was basically asking for it, by not brushing his hair when the first one popped out of no where. buut we have been working on getting them out, his hair is about to his nipples, so it's pretty long. he asked me to cut the mats in half, condition and brush them. this will be the second time we've done this and I hate feeling that I'm ruining his hair. Anyone have a really good method for getting out giant mats on a sensitive head?

unwanted dreads
soak in conditionmer or olive oil
comv[pb or brush just the very last inch thats dreaded slowly gently
have him hold the base so it dont pull tu]ill u get near thescalp
if u hit a soit thats hard soak it with mor and leave ob]vernight while u work on another
dont cut them in 1/2 or u cut every hair in em
just brush em out and take your time even if it takes 2 weeks
