Loving my babies. I have found a couple wool tams, but what do we do in the summer? I've already had the top down in my car onceand my hair was major fuzzy because they aren't locked all the way. Baseball caps won't work now, and headbands and scarves don't stay on my head, they slip backwards. Suggestions?? Summer tams?
let them hang free. Loose is always better than anything. If you need them out of your face, tie them back. But that will slow down the process. There's a girl on Etsy who makes tams and such. She made me a knit visor that is really comfy in the summer. But you shouldn't feel like you have to cover them year round
I wonder... I've got a couple skeins of a merchandised cotton that I've been thinking of making myself a summer tam out of, since its a thinner weight yarn I could use the same size hook and make a looser crocheted tam with it... Thoughts on using cotton for summer tams?
cotton does breath, but it shows creases well. I'd say linen would be nice, but again it creases really easily.
