Hey everyone..

lately my hair have started growing some lenth. But It kinda look/feels like the new hair isn't dreading. Is this normal?

And the new hair, looks like my old (non dreaded hair, which is pretty straight (im from Scandinavia))

Well yae just a simple question (:

how old are the dreads how longs the "new hair"

hair especialy straight hair needs to be about 6 inches to dread so when new growth (not in a dread) reaches that length it becomes a dread or joins a dread

the roots as they grow wont be dreaded for up to 3 inches..sometimes even 4 untill the dreads are mature then they tighten up to 1/2 an inch ..

if theyre not mature just wait

but what r u washing with

that might prevent the roots dfrom dreading

a weeks ok twice a weeks better but yea thats all it is theyre not mature and..you will always have some new growth thats not yet long enough to dread ..lets see a picture

i find when mines long enough but hasnt begun to dread yet cause i condition alot just using some sea salt in the baking soda for a week..maybe 2 will get it to dread right up in a hurry
