well i spose the tital pretty well explains what im asking about, ive been dreading for bit over 18mths(back combed) with great success. all bar the lower part of my scalp around the sides (the back is great). I have tried BC, T&R, natural but no luck.i have heaps of "baby dreads" form on the rest of my head naturaly so am thinking my washing etc...isnt the prob...anyone else had difficulties???

18mths finer hair above and front of ears will not dread???
my hair is baby fine around my ears and lower sides. its completely unknotted after almost 9 months of going natural. i've even tried to t & r some of it but it just comes out when i wash. i have a feeling its not going to dread at all. the hair there doesn't grow as long as the rest either. i have no idea what to tell you. i have a feeling we're just going to have to deal with it. maybe braid it and let the braid dread?
