Does it have to be 100% wool?

I went to a craft store to buy wool yarn but everything was mixed. I got the one that felt the roughest. its 80% acrylic and 20% wool...would this be good enough for a tam?

it would be better to get 1 thats 80% wool 20% anything else 100% wools best you dont need the 1 thats roughest u want the 1 thats most natural wool
