new dreads! ^^ any tips?

just started my natty dreads couple weeks ago and pretty stoked on it, ive wanted em since gradeschool but me mam wouldnt let me haha ah well good things come to those who wait, anyworm id appreciate any tips for a prospective dread enthusiast please
