Neglect Shrinkage on Shorter Hair

Ok so I started dreading when my hair was 3 inches.. And I was always crotching trying to make them perfect.."I know that's bad" but I couldn't help it.. But I soon felt they where to short.. So I took them out and it took a month to get all the tangles out... But now my hair is 7 inches and I'm starting neglect method but I want medium width dreads.. And I'm wondering is their much shrienkage from this method

nah the shrinkage is less noticable more gradual and short dreads shrink less then long dreads u might not notice much at all

Thanks man... I guess that's all I need to know bout neglect.. Huh just wash a couple days a week.. And leave it be.. Wording will just make it worse right? Oh and seperate as needed
