Lightening hair with lemon juice?

I want the ends of my dreads to look more blonde and wanted to do the lemon juice with a blow dryer method.

How long would I have to blow dry my hair a day, or however often?

And do I just dip the hair I want lightened in the juice?

I can't use the sun because its very rainy and cloudy here lately, haha.

if i'm not mistaken, its not the heat that causes the lemon juice to lighten your hair but the uv rays. i know the product sun-in works with a hair dryer because it has a mild peroxide in it.

Yeah some people keep telling me the heat, and others say the sunlight, so confusing xD Haha, maybe I'll wait for a hot, sunny day, so I have the combination of both lol.

if your hair is naturally dark most likely nothing will happen, the best you could even hope for would be an orange tone
