To congo or not to congo?

So I have this dread that's getting bigger and bigger, I'm three weeks into natural dreading by the way, it's not obnoxiously big but it is getting pretty big. I don't know if I should let it congo just because that's what it wants to do anyway or if I should keep them seperate.What do you guys think?

if its getting well over an inch-ish thick you might wanna separate it just for the sake of it being easier to care for/clean at the root.but w/e you think you'd like best is what counts most
