First few days (you can see how thin and loose)

about 3 months in still really loose

aabout 5-6 months in starting to knot up a little still thin

beginning to really knot up 6-7 months

around 8 months now, really thickening (particularly at the root)

Started through twist and rip, washed with baking soda once a week

now you can see a difference from the first to now :)

Day 4 or 5 (lost track lol lack of sleep) of twist and rip method. Took two days to complete due to bad shoulder and carpultunel in my wrist. Loving my dread journey and will post more pics as they progress. Say about weekly to every few weeks? Ill post a pic from day one and a pic from today! First pic in t shirt is day one completed. Second pic with my son is from today, day 4. So loving my hair! Why i never did this sooner, I couldn't tell you! Lol all I've done is wash my hair and make sure theyre separated due to sooo much frizz. No palm rolling or "maintainance" so to speak. Kust wrapping for bed and if I need them out of my face I wear that pink headband which is loose just to keep them from falling infront of my eyes or if needed pulled back I use xl hair ties loosely. Just enough so they are back but not sinched.

I responded lol also have a question about sleeping. Should I wrap to avoid fuzz(lint) or no? I have piercings and my babies like to get tangled I'm them so i thought it would be best to put something on at night be it a loose cap or wrap with a scarf like ive been doing. Any tips help. Will try to upload pic again here. These are from today

ive never worn anything except if i'm wearing a shirt and get hot (don't generally wear anything to bed but sometimes forget to take a shirr off) when i get hot i just pull it off so the neck holes around my head and dreads  through the waist hole ..but otherwise do nothin

Only maintenance I do is separate every few months. July 5th 2019 will be 2 years.
