I just didn’t want to face dealing with all the broken hairs, my hair already quite fine. I hope I have not caused any permanent thinning at the roots.

So no circular rubbing required and no palm rolling.
Do twist and rip dreads (from natural sectioning) look as organic as semi Freeform? I’ll search for pics.

they look beter then any other method but natural

however its not about how they loook but about the journey  most are alot happier to  just let it dread

My locks were TnR, so i feel i have no helpful input for the main discussion. I skipped the backcombing and crochet.

@ femalepheromones, yea I like those a lot, they have a lot of character, I’m gonna look up again different dreading methods on this site, I was informed that backcomb was always a better option than twistnrip but I’m developing more knowledge as I go on thanks to this site. When my sections develop I’ll most likely twistnrip.
