The first set I had was a backcombed set, I had them for 2 years. They were kind of uncomfortable, due to the way some of them were section. Then I cut that set, and all my friends were like how could you do that man. Then I started natural set after 2 years of growth and Im around year and half now. I think that the natural route does take a long time, but its well worth it. If you start out natural expect to look like crap for atleast 6 months.
