my method go play in the woods

meditate

celebrate

forget to comb

forget time exists

trade for a few beads

stick em in

sleep on the ground

drum round a fire

find a few dread

and say wow look what just happened

and yea it was enjoyble

I also have TnR dreads about two weeks old no maintence just washing. So far they are pretty much the same a few in the front are coming out abit in the front but the back is feeling pretty much exactly the same as when they were put in. Im curious to see how yours are doing and others who have had them longer

Well im with you mine are about the same im in day 16 and i always have to re TnR them.

I stopped brushing sometime last week, I started using salt spray last weekend, I backcombed on Tuesday, spray saltwater on nearly every day.I am now having to start separating at the roots to stop them all dreading together

Neglected after I started TnR. No crocheting at all. Retwisting detangled hair sometimes (I know it's not good but can't resist! :D).

Washing every 3 or 4 days or as needed.

I'm on my 3-month timeline TnR+neglect!
