A friend of mine is considering getting a couple of dreadlocks underneath his hair once it gets a bit longer, and since backcombing is a waste of time, I was thinking about T&R (he wants me to help him). But all the T&R i've seen has been relatively thin. Is there a way to achieve thicker dreads with T&R, or should I do the few thin ones and hope they get thicker as time passes?

In regards to wider/thicker dreadlocks. The size of the section is more important. As Shuk Coot implied time will take care of the rest.
