i would say wait 1 year without doing anything else too your hair exept washing it, and your problem will be solved, if your looking to get dreads for next week i dont know what to tell ya

Trouble with the roots of super fine baby dreads
Ok, I've been leaving them mostly alone, no root rubbing. I did have to brush about three out and redo them, because between roots and tips, there was literally only about an inch of actual knots. I'm seeing some progress of the roots coming together, but they are also trying to knot to each other. What's the best way to separate them so they don't congo? I've been pulling them apart, but some are worse webbed together than others, and the hair wants to rip.
