greetings all.i am ready to start twisting and ripping but need to know ... a lot actually ... but to start, should i do a baking soda or dr. bonner's wash/rinse to get rid of any residue from previously used shampoos/product? dry my hair, then get twisting/ripping? thank you. have a beautiful day every day. thanks se for this forum!! xo

dr b's worked great for me to get started. no experience with bsoda on nonlocked hair to advise if its any better or not. =/ hope that helps some.bless

sounds about right! good luck! it'll probably take a little while before you get your tnr technique down, so don't get discouraged!
