If anyone has dreaded naturally, what are the specific steps you took? How often did you wash your hair? EtcAnd if you did choose to naturally dread, do you regret it? Or do you think it was worth it? Did it turn out good?Any kind of input at all is good about natural dreading!Do you think other methods are better than natural dreading? Tell me anything

Natural, I don't have dreads yet. I'm still in the hair to baby dread stage. The steps that I took, I wore a tam to bed every night for the first few months but it's getting hotter at night here so I just said, screw it. I don't do anything anymore but wash my hair. I don't have to separate yet but I will start separating in time....I washed every other day for the first three and a half months, I washed with highly diluted Dr. Bronners but since my hair was getting longer I used a little more Dr. Bronners than I usually did and it left my hair really sticky and nasty feeling so I started washing with baking soda and the vinegar rinse, it makes my hair feel amazing, I love it. I now wash once a week with that and I rinse every other day because I work out and can get pretty sweaty.I don't regret dreading naturally. Natural should be the only way to dread. =) It was a very enlightening experience and I regret not starting sooner! It's turning out pretty good so far, I used to hate my hair but ever since I starting dreading..I love it.There are no other methods to dreading. Your hair will dread naturally. The other methods just make your hair look like dreads...but they look like crap locks, not dreadlocks.

Yeah, mine are taking longer because I'm growing from a nearly bald head but I'm still happy with it, it's just taking longer. I don't mind the wait, I'm enjoying it actually.
