great, i just received my free sample yesterday!

one question though, has this soap been tested for, and is it safe to use in hard water?

I don't think he and his daughter will be using it if it was not safe to use. His daughter is the one, why he started making the dread soap in the first place. Hope that helped.

not really...they could live in an area that does not have hard water. it doesnt say anywhere on the bar or on their site. just need verification that its ok to use in hard water before i go using it on me dreads. i will however try it out on the body though.

So, does anyone know if their soaps work with hard water or not? I sent a msg on their FB page about this concern since it seems they're on there a bit more often but haven't heard anything back yet. I guess I'll be a guinea pig and go find out since I need to wash today! I'll post my results back here then later on today!

Well i usedit.i had some baking soda.i figured if it did leave residue i could just rinse it out. and i did notice what i think is residue in the water. i have a test i do to check. if you get some suds onyour hand and then swish your hand in water fast, it will make the water cloudy. i noticed this when trying to make bubbles in the bath for my daughterwith Dr.Bronners soap.

i tried it and it smelled really good so i used it. it made my dreads feel weird, and made some of my ends unravel. does it have vegitable oil or olive oil in it? i believe it does. it overly conditioned my dreads and plus i thnk i have hard water, so thats not helping either. also i noticed it made the nape of my neck break out and a bit on my shoulder (ie, i used it on my body as well) which is odd because ive never had scalp acne before. i think ill just be sticking to my regular dread locking up liquid soap. thanks for the offer anyways.
