i'd say wash more, washing more will help them knot up. wash when they get oily, the oily will keep them slippery & prevent knots. also i didn't have to separate until 6 something months (& it's been almost 2 more months & i haven't needed to do it again yet), some ppl need more (i've seen some ppl who need to several times a day when it's in the crazy messy stages, but then it calms down & they can do it less often) some need less. you just might not need to be doing it much/at all yet.
the pitchfork thing i think Sussi had going on with a few, she wanted to keep the ends wispy so she points them down together & rubberbands them for a short time (beware of rubberbands tho they can be dangerous!!! use with care if at all), she said if she didn't do that they would blunt themselves, so maybe yours are just trying to blunt up?

By big water thing I mean like a pitcher of water. Like you'd make koolaid in or something.
My hair use to get oily when it was normal.
Now I can't feel or notice when my hair is dirty. I'll start washing every 3 days though.
I'm just surprised, I hear about T'n'R coming undone after washing. My hasn't at all.
One more question,
After i wash my hair, a few of the ends of my locks "pitch fork" as I call it.
And have two wispy ends. It's not like they are falling apart or coming undone.
Is this them reknotig themselves?
Should I leave it alone?
