Hard / Sharp spots in dreads

i felt a few hard and sharp things in my dreads. its not dirt or anything like that cause i wash them all the time. its that just hair that is locked in really tight and just sticking out a little? anyone had this happen before?

probly a dry spot? sharp tho? i dunno

it maybe more like a dry dense lump where a loop pulled in?

oh right u crochetted it could be caused by that too crochet makes dreads feel like brillo rough ..all the broken hairs can feel sharl]pish and it makes em way too tight so they feel hard
