Blow driers work, but aren't needed. If you can just squeeze out extra water and let them air dry, I'd recommend that. If you do use a blow drier, make sure you only use it for a few minutes at a time and make sure to move it around a lot. If you leave it pointing at one place too long, you can cause heat damage.
But, again, blow driers are really only needed for super fat locks, or if you need them dry in a pinch. When they are young, just the flow of air should be enough to dry them
