I've hadmy locs since 2000. Back then, I was told not to condition mytentacles because it will soften the hair, preventing it from locking. So my hair went unconditioned for 12 years and under went constant bleaching. Well, I finally woke up. About 1 mo. ago, I conditioned my hair and mylocslove me for it : ) I decided that I would treat them to a hot oil treatment once a month. The oils I am using are: jojoba, coconut, almond, and evening primrose. My question is the order of maintenance. Do I shampoo my hair first, followed bythe hot oil treatment andthe last step beingan ACV?Keep in mind that my bleachedtentacles are really loving the oils, especiallyafter so many years of being brittle/dry.Let's talk. Thanks guys!

if u use the dreadlockshampoo.com soaps u might not need the oils as much

but mature dreads can be conditioned anmd african hair needs it even when they are new
