so I'm looking into getting a shampoo bar too try something a little new
i usually use 2/3s of a cup baking soda in 3 quarts of water same with acv once a week and that usually does a good job but i was just wanting to know what some good bars to use would be and how often i would wash with it etc etc oh and I'm 5 1/2 months in dont know if that helps in but just in case

mayles gardens are awesome too if you dont have hard water. The dreadlocks shampoo one has like a special clay called kaolin clay, which cleans incredibly well and has a special beer in it, the beer is what makes it work so well in our water and makes your dreads are very soft. Plus it smells amazing with that extra zing
dr. bronners bars seem to be pretty popular. i use them onoccasion. the peppermint one will make your scalp tingle:)
i think Im gonna try the patchouli i love that smell :]
and i have hard water but its not like crazy hard its like medium water i guess you could call it lol
how long do they usually last?
