Separating

Hi

So, I've been dreading my hair naturally for about 2 months now. I was just wondering if I should separate my hair wet or dry.

I dont think it matters, although its easier when hair is wet

dry is better because wet hair is like elastic and it will hurt like hell when you try breaking them. also, don't separate your hair in front of a mirror. you'll likely become to obsessed with it all looking perfect and might end up doing more than necessary. if i had known that in the first 6 months it probably would've locked up faster:)

I agree with heather, when I try to rip my hair when it is wet it hurts really bad, also, It seems more messy as opposed to when it is dry often times I can just pull apart easier or even they aren't tangled anymore at all.

Not seperating in front of a mirror is great advice. I need to follow that

just the oposite wet hairs more elastic but weaker and breaks easier

i do it wet or dry but its easier wet
