How often and how do u wash your head ?

cause clean dreads are happy dreads

mostly it is about once a week sometimes it is upto 10 days at other times it is everyday it depends on what i have been doing. If I have been working in a sweaty dusty envoiment it is everyday if doing bookwork during cooler weather it can streech out ot 10days but try for at least once a week

I am washing twice a week.

Hah, yea I get excited because I go too long between washes most of the time and my head is UBER ITCHY. The excitement is for the itchies to go away

I just wash whenever I feel it's necessary, which is just unfathomable to some people. Normally, I just wash if my head begins to get a little itchy.

I don't have dreads BUT is putting your hair under water counted as washing lol?

I work in a relatively dusty environment so i wash twice a week, but rince lightly everyday or every other day. Shampooing everyday would be overkill me thinks but a daily rinse i dont think hurts.

Yea my head goes through an itchy stage for like 2 days and then if i bardge through it it doesnt itch at all i reckon i could go weeks and weeks, i ususally wash my hair when i think "Oh crap i havnt washed my head in a while" i dont use oil or anything i only use bi carb. Before bi carb i used a knotty boy shampoo bar. My head just seems to never have any problems . i do love my scalp

Hahahahaaa. It's well funny reading all this coz I washed my dreads last... 6 weeks ago I think! It doesn't get itchy, greasy or smelly so i dont see the point. I was my fringe when it looks greasy. But i openly tell people to smell my dreads, they say they dont smell of anything and it's breaking stereotypes.

mine never smelled or looked dirty when i was unable to wash it for long times (livin in a rustic cabin with no water) but when i did wash it i realized how dirty it was
