root rubbing... what is this how do you do it and does it work???

how to do, is it neccessary or workable

it ruines roots dont do it just a nother johnny clean thing roots dont need anything ever

Don't worry about any of the strange ways you hear. All you should ever do is wash, separate, occasional sea salt spray, and pure aloe vera to moisturize if it's ever needed(you shouldn't need that till dreadries are mature)

It's damaging, you don't do it and it doesn't work

No! Weakens your roots. Just wash and separate. Your dreads will take care of themselves.

im gonna have to say i tried this with my last locs and not only was it so painful that i only did it with 2 locs and thankfully they were in the back because one of them seriously broke off about a week later ....i would NOT recommend you do this ive tried it i know the perils
