Ok so im gonna dreads my hair and im ging with the twist and rip method but i was wondering how do you maintain your dreads when they start comming apart because if its already dreaded and it comes apart in the middle how do you maintain it? Also i want thicker dreads and the twist and rip method seem to not lock up so good when you get bigger sections (about 1 -2 inch sections)

1 u do not want 2 inch sectionbs thats huge and can cause probvs2 they will maintain themselves if u just be patientthey may unravel or have loose spots but that wont last foreverr they will dread3 if u start em well they will dread fine thicker just remember when u start they get thicker over time so dont make sections too big

Just leave 'em. They will lock up on there own with enough time. If you have 1-2 inch sections they are probably going to be pretty thick no matter what, even if those separate into one or 2 more dreads. Happy dreading, and remember, love and patience is the best maintenance.
