they will be all shaps and sizes and until they are knotting up really they maybe just redefining the sections by how they want to tangle
only worry about it if they are forming real big if they aren't really forming yet just tangling already real thin sections
is the rest of the dread somewhat dreaded
you will likely alwayshave a mesh of sorts near the scalp
if its traveling up the dread daily that means its dreading very st and may need separating daily or 3-5 times a day even
beads however are awesome for keeping that under control more
its not so much that beads leave thin spots as much as it i= if you don't move them the dread thickens above and below and can be trapped for years (though wood or clay beads maybe broken off..glass too obviously but wouldn't smash glass into a dread)
i typically recommend beads as decorations not control..they help it dread they help keep them separated, but they might be with you a long time if you don't move them often
every bead i ever put in i put in hoping it would last years and years...most have.
