Hey everyone! I live part of the year in a tipi, have been for almost five years now, on a little organic homestead in new jersey (i know, i know)......its not for everyone, but from my own perspective i can say that it is one of the most satisfying experiences i have had...there is something really...ancient..about it, almost womblike..with the fire smoldering inside with you, tendrils of smoke wafting up out the top, it is a warmth that goes beyond the physical. i am working with other building methods on the farm...but i think i will always keep the tipi...
