Anyone have a suggestion for how often I should wash my dreads?

Hi Benjamin. In the first few months you should wash your hair every 2-3 days. This will wash any oils off which can cause the knotting process to slip out. Clean hair dreads faster.....Peace

Awesome choice of shampoo soap. Nag Champa is my favorite aroma, especially for incense. Peace Benjamin

I personally just wash when it feels like it needs it. Also, the sea salt routines people have outlined on here has worked wonders for me. Just remember to only leave the salt in for a little while, as it will dry your scalp out something fierce. To condition, I use pure aloe from my plant.
