is there anyway i can get rid of loose hair without damaging or breaking the hair ?

Nope. As your locks mature, that loose hair gets sucked into various locks, or it forms new locks of its own.

But there is always, and I do mean always, going to be some loose hair. It's healthy for your locks. And it enables your locks to keep growing out without having the roots get thinner and thinner.

i use to worry about the same thing but recently I've really embraced all the loose hair i have. i enjoy the mix of dreadlocks and loose hair plus it gives me softness around my face. I'm sure in time it will dread up but I'm really not concerned with it.

Dread beads helps seperate alot. i also wrap random ones for like for a month, take it off and then wrap a different one that needs a little help. i use rainbow colored hemp rope.:0) it breathes so water doesnt stay trapped in there.
