Looking at yours they have wonderful knots like a tree branch and years of history. I see what you mean, his is cylindrical shaped.
if u look closely near his chin it almost looks hard..i havent seen the show so hard to tell from a picture might look softer less stiff in real life
i met this elder at a gathering called himself peter pan he hads short hair on his head but a dreaded beard to his knees
hed roll em up in a ball and tuck em unger his loose beard hairs to hide em for some higher end clients..hes an artist o sorts he climbs coconut trees harvests the palm fronds and uses them to create incredible liefelike birds insects etc hats whatever
he made me a parot with a grashopper in its mouth that was so beautiful and detailed and was just woven out o f palm tree leaves
anyway he had really inmpressive beard dreads ..long grey ones to his knees
havent ever seen him since that gathering tho like 10 or no..15 years ago maybe
this makes me want to make another timeline for my beard. <3
