Hey guys! Ive my dreads for about 10 months now and i love them.They are only on the back of my head with combination to my regular hair. My natural hair colour is light brown but my dreads got lighter every month. I wash with baking soda/acv/oils.It feels healthy no itching,dry skin etc. Why is this happening??:) 
yes i love this effect to be honest! i also think that certain oils like rosemary can lighten a tad over time too. but this makes for an interesting mane ill tell ya that!~
Yeah i know about the sun effect but It is freaking cold for months here where i live.weird

My hair does the same thing during the summer months when I am outdoor in the sun a lot. It is a bleaching effect caused by the sun and it tends to do it even more if I am in /out of the water a lot.
