ive always hada changing part, it doesnt have to be straight, do i need to part my hair the way i want it the rest of my life or can dreads move around enough that i can flip hem over? are trhey going to only wantto go n one direction?

I have a part down the middle of my hair. It's been like that for 19 weeks since I started going natural. My hair has sectioned itself out so I can see where each dread will be. I can flip my hair anyway I want and even get rid of the part. But this is just how my hair did itself so I just let it stay. You don't have to worry about finding a part that you'll want to stick with your whole life, just let your hair do what it does.
When I let my hair section naturally for a couple of weeks before I did the twist & rip, I let it section where it wanted, no part in the middle or sides.
