Loose hair and loose dreads..?

So I've washed my hair twice. Because it wasitchingsoooo bad! Now there is so much loose hair everywhere. And my dreads are feeling loose and tangling into each other. I make sure to pull the dreads apart so they would not do that but what should I do now?

Keep washing. You should be washing 2-3 times a week.

Baby locks get loose before that get tighter. They don't start maturing until they are about a year old.

Thank you for informing me. I think I was maybe scrubbing to hard. Is there any shampoos that you think are best to use?

I switched to and love Dreadlock Shampoo's lockin up liquid shampoo. http://shop.dreadlockshampoo.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2

A lot of dreadies here use BS:ACV and Dr.B's.

I was thinking about doing the BS:ACV. But I decided not to.

The BS wash is great. It's all I use. No scrubbing needed either.

Why not?

Yup, bs/acv is great. It's a bit of a process tho. That's pretty much the only thing I wash with now. My scalp doesn't seem to like the dreadlockshampoo.com stuff, unfortunately. Mostly you have to kind of tinker with whichever way you choose to wash. I have yet to try Dr Bronner's.
