Flakes along the front of my hairline

Every once in a while get flakes along the front of my hair line. I've heard that rosemary essential oil help dissolve dandruff so I tried putting some on a damp cotton pad and applied it to the flakey areas. I just washed yesterday so my question is should I just rinse this out or do I have to re-wash my hair again, or can I leave it in until my next wash? Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

How do you wash? Try putting some rosemary oil in with whatever you wash with.

I wash with dr b's with a little BS mixed in and do an ACV rinse. Thanks I will try adding the roseymary in with next wash. Would it be better to add to wash mix or the ACV rinse?

Either one. I usually put about 20 drops in.
