i lived in an old civil war Weapons and uniforms factory in germantown we were turning it into the peace factory
but then to help pay the bills they moved a rolls royce repair shop into the garage and as far as i know that was the end of that
the upper deck was a reggae club on osage ave if not mistaken its been some time scince ive been there but was a great lil club that served all ital food. do u remember when mayor Good burnt down most of osage ave (almost a whole block) to get the "move members that where supposedly squatting there out of the houses the move members were a sort of radical rastafari group
not really the move members were animal rights activists they were a back to africa group religiosly im not sure wether they wre rastas or not but i know many of them
yea i remember that veery well
i also remember the house in ..umm wherever it was over near sprring garden where the cops stomped a pregnant woman to death which lead up to the osage ave "right to bear arms" display where the move members defiantly displayed armns but ..with no amunition whatsoever anywhere in the house they simpky excersized theu=ir rights ti say hey we will defend oursekves
i remember kids being shot ..just for trying to escape burning to death
it was the darkest hour of philly history
and the kove people are such freindlt-y wonderful people but now the poor kids are so suspicouse od[f strangers its horible
they live across the street from a freind now (actualu=y wait i just remembered my freinds moved since then) but they live a block from clark park now
beautiful house beautiful garden
they are beautiful people that suffered so much just cause they take a stand against injustice
