Neglect and Sea Salt

I've been growing neglect dreads since the start of the year now, and been washing a few times a week with the shampoos from dreadlockshampoo.com. Is this all I need to be doing? Is sea salt required or only if your using the baking soda wash?

It's not required at all. It does give your hair a little boost in locking. But it'll lock up just the same without it
