I was on my natural journey but about 17 days in I decided that I am too impatient for it. I let my husband give my hair a kick in the right direction by putting twist n rip dreads into my head on July 22. <3 (:

^ 3 weeks and 2 days old. Lots and lots of strays and loose hairs.
^^ 4 weeks old!! 1 month!!! Aug 22, 2012.
so far so good but still think u shoulda stuck it out and went natural

Really?! You think so? I thought that maybe I have too much loose hair? A friend of mine has the same dread birthday as I do and we both did tnr and she has waaaaaaaay less strays than I do. :/

Yeah I have a problem with doing that :/ Which is why I keep getting so discouraged with my progress hen I should be just embracing it all.

looks good. try not to compare your journey to anyone elses. they will never be exactly the same. there are tons of people out there with more loose hair than you and tons with less. dont worry. just enjoy.
loose hairs part of the process and its possible if hers are less its cause they are progressing slower not faster as they do have to loosen and get messy 1st
