question on dreadlock soap bars

Just got my order of shampoo bars and was wondering whats best to use them. Do you lather it in your hands then scrub or run the bar over your head and then scrub? My hair still has a ways to go before its dreaded but I dont wanna mess up any progress!

i rub em on my head then lather u can do it either way tho
