Do you, Soaring Eagle, or anyone else ever come to Vermont? We have so many wonderful festivals and groups and communities. Come visit this summer!
Yeah, Eagle. You should still let me know when you're in town again. Unfortunately I'm in school most of the day during the week, but weekends are usually good to hang out
funny, it did cut off my original question. It is pretty cool that you have met so many fellow dreadies. I must say that I find it interesting the different countries that are represented here on the site. Many people from around the world. We are one beautiful small planet, that's for sure. Kind of off subject, I would love to go up on one of Richard Branson's rockets that go into space to view Earth. I think that would be a soul changing moment.
..
on your off topic topic ive never been to space ofcourse but i flew gliders for a few years
and hawks and eagles would circle in thermals right off your wingtip..making eye contact
its magical
but there was 2 guys in a glider who wore space suites to keep their blood from boiling and used wave lift (theres 3 types of lift thermals caused by uneven heating typicay marked by the cumulouse clouds ..the puffy clouds u see everyday and ridge lift when wind hits a mountain range at a right angle the air flows up over the ridge but 50-150 miles downwind of ridges there can be standing waves wave lift a glider can stay stationary over the ground and go straight up very fast like riding an elevator flying faster and faster through the air but not moving over the grpund by that i mean as u go hiher u have to fly fastrer to not go backwards and these 2 guys flew to the stratoshere with no motror just the natural wind currenbts
higher then jets can fly
incidently
eagles will fly to 60,000 feet and theres only 1 reason theyed ever fly so hihg..foir fun
