trying to get dreads like someone elses is pointless all dreads are unique
natural is the best way if u want em thin separate any that are thick
but
thin hair looks best with a variety of sizes that blend thin to thick within a range if u want mostly thin then thin to medium
thin fills gaps between thicker thicker ads volume and body
if you dont use natural then twist and rip
avoid wax avoid crochet avoid working on em too much
best option wether u tnr or go natural
go natural 1st couple weeks let the hair decide where it wants to section itself
it will section itself just right
tips part 2
the root area defines the mature dread size
with thin hair u can create a thin dread from a thick root section and think it will be too thin then months later it fattens up a ton
if you want pencil sized dreads they may look extremely thin till then thicken
rule of thumb
20 and under dreads are massive
20-30 pretty damn fat
30-50 average size
50-75 thinnish
75-100 pretty thin
100-200 real thin
200-400 micro (like sisterlocks)
id recomend 40-60 but not all thin mix em up
some 1/2 inch some 1/4 some 1/8
if u do get 1 an inch it might be your fave
