flapping

Does flapping (flettening) fix itself? having pretty severe issues with it, aggrivated by only being able to slep on my sides due to being pregnant.

It fixes itself, but you know what I do. I sleep on the left side almost all the time too. So I just take my hair and pull it above my head and toss it over the end of the bed. The it's out of my way and I don't flatten that side of my hair out

flapping? do you mean flattening? a lot of my dreads are flat but as they lock up closer to the root they round out. flat dreads are cool looking. i love mine:)

Most of them round themselves out. I mean, I only sleep on my left side, but most of mine have rounded themselves out even though I'm sleeping on the same side, so I don't know how that works, but it does. Put a bead on them, maybe?
