lemon juice / putting leftover salt sprays in fridge?

several customers in my store (usually black men with natural dreads, one white woman with backcomed--but not waxed--dreads) have told me to use lemon juice on my hair to tighten it up. has anyone had experience with this? positive, negative?

i just put about a tablespoon in my regular salt & lavender spray.

also, i usually have a lot of leftover spray after i mist my whole head, and i was wondering if it could be kept in the refrigerator so as to save the rest of it without it smelling like mildew.

thanks guys!

do not use lemon juice in dreads its corosive it seeps into the inner layer of the hair shaft past the cuticles into the layer contasining the pigmentation there it breaks it down slowly

thats why it lightens hair like bleach but being acu]idic it breaks the hair down

its especialy bad on color treatted hair that already has that layer somewhat compromised

sea salt itself shouldnt need to be refridgerated but u can if u want
