I have had my dreads for about 2 years now and I am looking for a good way to moisturize them. i live on the beach, so salt water adds to the dryness........ I am wondering about 100% pure shea butter. I dont have african hair texture. i have tried jojoba oil and didnt really see much of a difference, excpte for the oily shine! Any ideas? Thank you

try pure aloe very the dreadlockshampoo.com shampoos might make it need ;ess as the beer in them does the trick (the bars)

aloe wont leave u feeling oily shae might be too thick and build up badly..id guess anyway since its nearly the consistency of wax

tho wouldnt repel water so wouldnt be as horible

i dunno what to tell ya

maybe try a soap that has shae in it as a test? putting straight shae in might nbot work out so well
