Hey guys i have been thinking about and wanting dreads for about 2 and a half years now but have never had the guts to get them because i dont want to have to shave my hair off if i ever want a change (self centred of me i know but i just defiantly couldnt pull of the really short hair). i was wondering if it is possible to brush/comb your dreads out as long as you dont use wax ect? even if i make them fairly loose to begin with ?? Help because im dieing to get them

dont get them let them happen

stop combing and wait they will form on their own

you can comb them out even arfter years but it takes alot of effort and time (6 year old dreads might take 2 weeks of careful gentle combing and conditioning to get out)

you will need a trim after at least

the more natural u go the more likely you will keep them a lifetime tho and ..if u do comb them out theres a very high probability that u will dread again within a yea\r

some take out 3 or 4 sets before finaly deciding to keep ewm for life

so get yourself into that mindset now..that u want them till you die then u will for sure be willing to go natureal wait a few months for them to dread so they will last ya a lifetime
